U.S. Air Force Ups Partnership with Championship Off-Road

Albertville, Minn. ~ The U.S. Air Force is the world leader in air, space, and cyberspace. The high-flying military branch will also continue as a leader in the high-octane sport of off-road racing, increasing its partnership with AMSOIL Championship Off-Road to become the series presenting sponsor starting with the upcoming 2023 season. In addition, we are recognizing this monumental partnership by renaming the PRO2 class as "U.S. AIR FORCE PRO2" class.

The U.S. Air Force has been a valued partner with Champ Off-Road since 2021and for more than a decade with AMSOIL Championship Snocross, the sister series owned by the parent company, International Series of Champions. Both circuits are critical to the Air Force’s efforts to promote, recruit and recognize its airmen and its mission to fly, fight and win. That same effort and commitment will now be more prevalent during the summer as the short-course series will be renamed AMSOIL Championship Off-Road, presented by the U.S. Air Force.

“The U.S. Air Force has been an amazing partner for long-time and we couldn’t be happier to be working with them again this summer,” said Carl Schubitzke, ISOC President. “Their activations and work are second-to-none, and we are excited to enhance that energy with Champ Off-Road. Their increased partnership and presence will allow us to continue bringing first-class racing to off-road enthusiasts worldwide.”

The U.S. Air Force partnership allows the military branch to recruit and recognize its more than 300,000 active-duty airmen and women. Beyond recruitment, the highest-flying branch of the military will hold on-track ceremonies to officially swear in members of its Delayed Enlistment Program, or“DEPs.” It has also enlisted airmen to sing the National Anthem and hosted school visits through its partnership with Scheuring Speed Sports, one of the top professional teams in Snocross and off-road racing, with its collaboration with PR04 and SXS champion Kyle Chaney.

Recruiting the brightest, most competitive, and most diverse men and women for service, the U.S. Air Force offers a wide range of jobs in more than 150different career fields. In addition to flying fighter jets, teams, and fans can find careers available in Aircraft Maintenance, Computer, Space, and Special Operations.
